Writing your Will can be a daunting and expensive exercise. To assist, we offer a number of special Will writing services throughout the year, providing our supporters and the WA community with the opportunity to have a professionally prepared standard Will for a reduced price.

Although there is no obligation whatsoever to include a charitable gift in your Will, if you are passionate about making a difference, please consider including a gift in your Will to us. Leaving a charitable gift to us in your Will can help contribute to cancer research and local support services.

Pop Up Wills

Each year we host both regional and metro Pop Up Will events in partnership with local WA law firms and charities. This Will writing service is an affordable way to obtain the peace of mind that comes from having a qualified lawyer create a valid and properly drafted Will.

Bunbury Pop Up Will writing service

Cancer Council WA and Guide Dogs WA are once again partnering with local Bunbury law firm, Groven Legal, to offer a professionally prepared standard* Will for just $154!

This exclusive offer is once again available to our South West regional supporters during June.

  • Where: Bunbury Forum Shopping Centre
  • When: 9am to 5pm, Tuesday 25 June to Thursday 27 June

Appointments can be made in advance by calling (08) 9212 4333 or by emailing plannedgiving@cancerwa.asn.au. Alternatively, you can visit us on the day.

2024 will be the sixth year we’ve worked with Groven Legal and it’s still showing signs of being a continued successful partnership with them and Guide Dogs WA.

Our last Pop Up Wills event, in November 2023, had a fantastic turnout.

36 Wills were written over 3 days and 17 gifts were left in Wills to Cancer Council WA.

The majority of appointments were booked in advance with places being snapped up quickly.  Many lovely conversations took place on the 3-day visit with additional appointments being added in from supporters and enquirers walking past the display during the time the team were there.

We look forward to continuing and building on the success of the campaign this June.

*A standard will does not include complex matters such as controls of trusts, ownership of companies and business interests, disinheritance, or blended families.
