Funding world-class research to Western Australia’s best and brightest researchers.
What is Regular Giving?
Regular Giving provides reliable and sustainable funding to ensure we continue unlocking the answers to a cancer free future, so no one faces cancer alone.
By donating regularly, we will debit your nominated credit card or bank account with the amount you generously allocate. You can increase, decrease, or cancel your donation at any time by contacting us or your bank.
No matter how big or small your donation, donating regularly is the easiest way to support us in making breakthroughs in tackling cancer.
How Regular Giving is making breakthroughs
Regular donations provide predictable income, enabling our work across every aspect of cancer, from delivering prevention programs, advocating for change, and providing support to those affected by cancer in Western Australia.
When you donate regularly, you will be:
Providing a home away from home for regional West Australians affected by cancer.
Transport Services to and from hospital for regional cancer patients staying at our Lodges.
Wig, turban, and beanie services to help overcome the psychological challenge of hair loss.

Yes. All transactions on Cancer Council WA’s website are secure and protected using Stripe technology. Cancer Council WA uses Funraisin to support online donations. Funraisin is a reputable payment gateway, to process online donations on our behalf. The merchant will show as “Cancer Council WA APT” on your credit or debit card statement.
How do I know you’re not a scammer?
From time to time, we will need to communicate with you by phone or email about your Regular Giving donations. Cancer Council WA’s Regular Giving program is identifiable from both our email address (regulargiving@cancerwa.asn.au) and phone number (1300 65 65 85).
For your peace of mind and security, the Australian Government offers some helpful precautions you can take to ensure your Regular Giving is safe and legitimate:
- If you receive a call purporting to be from a charity, inform them that you will call back. Verify the legitimacy of the call by checking the Charity Register as listed on the Australian Charities and Not-For-Profit Commission website. We then suggest calling back using the listed number.
- Avoid clicking on links in unsolicited emails and social media posts that may lead to counterfeit or scam websites. Instead, locate the charity’s official website through a search engine (e.g. Google) or on the Charity Register.
- Exercise caution when sharing credit card and bank account details online or through social media.
- Look for well‑established, registered charities conducting verified fundraising campaigns.
Does Cancer Council WA receive support from the government?
Cancer Council WA’s information and support services are community-funded, relying on the generosity from West Australians, like you.
Some funding from the Department of Health is received for our prevention and research programs. A breakdown of this support can be found in our most recent Financial Statements under “external program funding”.
