Do you need a short break?

Getting away from daily challenges and spending quality time with loved ones is a great way to relax and unwind. If you’re affected by cancer, the financial strain that often comes with it can make it difficult to afford a holiday at a time when it’s needed most. We can help.

The Holiday Break Program supports West Australians affected by advanced cancer by providing a one-off short break away at minimal cost. The holiday break is currently located in Albany, Western Australia.

Cancer Council WA have six self-serviced, fully furnished accommodation units ranging from studio’s to two-bedroom apartments.

Eligibility:

If you have been diagnosed with advanced cancer, then you are eligible for a subsidised holiday break.

  • To ensure your safety, you must be accompanied by a friend, family member or carer who is capable of helping with your care and who can seek assistance in a medical emergency.
