What is Daffodil Day Dip?

Take the Daffodil Day Dip challenge and raise funds for Cancer Council WA to support West Australians impacted by cancer.

Dip in the chilly ocean, a lake, river, a pool or even a cold shower on Daffodil Day, 22 August. Or you could up the ante and do a dip a day throughout August. The choice is yours. Dip once or as many times as you like in August.

You’ll be joining thousands of Australians braving the cold this winter and taking the plunge with a cold-water dip as part of Cancer Council’s WA Daffodil Day.

Every year, 13,000 West Australians will be diagnosed with cancer. That’s why we’re encouraging you to give hope, by registering to fundraise for Daffodil Day, or by donating to the cause.

All participants receive a Welcome pack including a welcome letter, an event guide, a calendar and a FREE  bright yellow swim cap to wear for the dip.

Please note that all sign ups take place through Facebook.
