What is Daffodil Day?
To Cancer Council WA, and those affected by cancer, the daffodil represents hope for a cancer free future.
For all that cancer takes, give all that you can this Daffodil Day. Join thousands supporting cancer research.
Cancer Council WA has funded lifesaving breakthroughs in cancer research over the years. This research wouldn’t be possible without the support of our generous donors.
Tragically, with one in two people being affected by cancer in their lifetimes, we will all be touched by this heartbreaking disease. That’s why we’re encouraging you to give hope, by registering to fundraise for Daffodil Day, or by donating to the cause.
Daffodil Day is Cancer Council’s most iconic and much-loved fundraising campaign. Daffodil Day is held in the month of August every year, and you can get involved any time throughout the month!
It’s a chance for Australians to come together and, for all that cancer takes; give. We all have the ability to create change in the lives of people impacted by cancer by funding cancer research.
In 2023, we raised close to $2.5 million, and in 2024, with your support, we hope to raise even more.

You can find records of your past online donations and your tax receipts through the ‘Donor Login’ portal. Log in as a donor here. For offline donations, please contact your local office.

Why do I need to register?
We ask you to register so that we can provide you with resources, tips and tricks to make sure your fundraising is successful, including your Letter of Authority to Fundraise for Cancer Council.
What support do I get from Cancer Council?
Once you register, you’ll be able to access all the online resources you need to start fundraising. We’ll also be in touch regularly via email and SMS with fundraising tips and information on where your funds go and the difference your fundraising is making. If you need any help, you can contact our events team on 1300 65 65 85.
