A cancer diagnosis can be an overwhelming experience. Its impact is profound, and the support for patients and their loved ones often requires a collective effort.

Fortunately, there is hope. Thanks to the continuous support and generosity of the West Australian community, we are making significant strides in tackling cancer, through funding life-saving cancer research, running advocacy and prevention programs, and providing vital support to West Australians impacted by cancer.

During the 2022-2023 financial year, thanks to you, we were able to achieve the following:

  • Over $2.4 million in funding contributed to support cancer research happening right now in Western Australia, shared amongst 83 researchers working on 30 projects at recognised research institutes and universities across the state.
  • 41,094 bed nights were provided at our Crawford and Milroy accommodation Lodges for country cancer patients and their carers. Additionally, 5,741 contacts were received by our 13 11 20 Cancer Information and Support Line.
  • Over 155,000 West Australian students participated daily in our Crunch&Sip program. Additionally, 22,666 students from 102 schools across Western Australia participated in The Great Vegie Crunch, which was coordinated by our Crunch&Sip Team.
  • We continued to work with the community to change laws and policies to reduce cancer risks and improve cancer care in WA.

On behalf of the 32,000 people you help support each year, thank you for sharing in our vision of a future without cancer.

Together, we can and will make a difference in providing a beacon of hope for those who need it most.
