How do I acknowledge my funding?
Information on how to acknowledge the Cancer Council WA funding in written presentations or publications can be found below under the individual schemes.

How do I report on my research?
Careful consideration was given in the development of our report templates to ensure we can:
- Support the on-going monitoring and evaluation of our research funding program to better inform strategic planning and demonstrate value
- Better inform ourselves, our donors and the wider WA community of the outcomes of the research we fund

What types of report templates are there?
End of project report and Brief Follow-on Report
The end-of-project report is required not later than 3 months post project completion (template below).
The brief follow-on report is required 12 months after the end-of-project report. All that is required is for you to add detail to your end-of-project report in instances where you have additional information regarding the funded research ie publications, grant funding, translation outcomes etc. Note: adding the detail in a different font colour makes it easier for us to record the additional information.
Extension Request and Progress Report
We very much appreciate that research does not always go according to plan and that this may necessarily mean an extension is required. If you require an extension for your research please complete the relevant extension request and progress report.
Progress and Final Report
This report template is for the research and postdoctoral fellowships. This report needs to be completed on an annual basis with the final report being forwarded at the end of the final year of your fellowship.
- Sections such as KPIs and Research Aims can be updated from the initial report
- We do not expect as lengthy commentary for interim reports as that for final reports
