It won’t surprise you to know that our grandparents are an important source of childcare here in Western Australia. With the increased cost of living, more and more parents are returning to work and with formal childcare becoming less affordable, we are relying on our grandparents to help.

But when it comes to our children’s health habits, how important are our grandparents really?

The answer? Very!

Grandparents have a wonderful opportunity to promote healthy habits in their families with the care they provide.

Learn more about how grandparents can be healthy lifestyle champions at this FREE event! Dr Michelle Jongenelis will be presenting her latest research into grandparenting and sharing resources specifically designed to upskill grandparents to help their families eat well and move more.

This event is for all members of the community and health and community professionals. You are also invited for a chat and refreshments afterwards.
