The Longest Day is the ultimate golf challenge, designed to test your skills, strength, and stamina. The challenge is to successfully complete 36, 54 or 72 holes and raise vital funds for cancer research, prevention, and support services.

Take part on the official Longest Day or pick any day that suits you in December or January to complete the challenge.

How The Longest Day helps

Grab your mates and get involved to support West Australians impacted by cancer. As an independent, not-for-profit organisation, we rely on the generosity of our supporters to continue our important work.

The Longest Day WA 2024 raised $131,156 with the hard work and dedication of 40 teams consisting of 148 Participants. With Rottnest Island event raising $42,000 & Ledge point Community Golf club & Individual Mark Herron making the top 10 Fundraisers in the country.

We were extremely lucky to have events across Western Australia, raising incredible funds:

  • Hillview – $11,790.00
  • Bunbury – $11,771.00
  • Rotto – $42,000.00
  • Araluen – $33,877.00
  • Ledge Point – $18,000.00
  • Port Hedland – $9,600.00

Whether you choose 36, 54 or 72 holes, The Longest Day will be long, and you could walk between 20-40km. So, we’ve put together some tips on how to get ready for the day.
