Overview:
This session will explore the Voluntary Assisted Dying (VAD) process, the support available, and what the journey looks like for patients. It will also share real-life experiences from the past three years since VAD became a legal end-of-life option in Western Australia, with a focus on aged care facilities. Additionally, we’ll discuss how this process unfolds in your workplace and how you can provide respectful and compassionate support within your non-clinical role.
