Overview:
This session will provide an overview of the Voluntary Assisted Dying (VAD) process, available supports, the patient journey, and the mandatory responsibilities of health professionals. It will also explore lived experiences from the past three years since VAD became a legal end-of-life option in Western Australia, with a focus on its impact within aged care homes.
